Lazaroo – Friday, December 17, 2010
No comments, Dec 17, 2010
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, from the depths of your soul:
“…those who… neither seek the LORD nor inquire of him.”
(Zephaniah 1:6)
That’s exactly the opposite of who I’m determined to be, Jesus.
I’m a seeker.
I seek You.
Do not count me among the multitude of Christians who have quit seeking You
because they’ve prayed a salvation prayer
been baptized
joined a local church
had numerous religious experiences.
Yes, I’ve found You –
but there’s so much more of You to find.
More than I have any idea.
I’ve only scratched the surface of who You are!
You are far bigger than I could ever imagine
more wonderful than I could ever dream
more loving than I can begin to comprehend.
And each time I “find” You…
each time I discover a little more of who You really are…
each time You draw me a little closer to Yourself…
I’m inspired to passionately seek You
all the more.
