Fervently pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud to God:

“…God, who has saved us and called us to a holy life – “
(2 Timothy 1:8-9)

What can I say, Jesus?

You’ve saved me from a fiery eternity in hell –

a punishment You know better than anyone that I fully deserve.

So when You ask me to live a holy life as the way I can show my gratitude

for Your death on the cross
Your indwelling Presence in my life
the gift of eternal life in my new heavenly home

there’s only one answer that belongs on my lips:

“Yes.”

Not only do I owe that to You –

I sincerely long to live my life in a way that honors You

in all I think
all I say
all I do.

But I keep falling short.
And not by just a little.

I’ve discovered the hard way:

To live Your life
Your way

I need You.
