Lazaroo – Saturday, November 13, 2010

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with full-on ardor:
“According to their ability they gave to the treasury for this work 61,000 drachmas of gold, 5,000 minas of silver and 100 priestly garments.”
(Ezra 2:69)
I love this about You, Jesus.
You don’t ask or expect me to give one cent more
than I have the ability to give.
Others might judge how much I give
but they have no idea of my true ability.
Outward appearances are deceiving.
Some people might look at me and think I could give more.
Others might think I’d be wise to give less.
But only You know what I’m actually able to give.
Please reveal that amount to me so clearly
that when I offer my gift in heartfelt love to You
I will be able to sense Your smile of approval.
And if it pleases You to do so…
increase my ability.
