Lazaroo – Friday, November 12, 2010
No comments, Nov 12, 2010
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, from the depths of your soul:
“With this in mind, we constantly pray for you…”
(2 Thessalonians 1:11)
That’s how I want to pray for all the people You’ve brought into my life, Jesus –
constantly.
But I don’t know how to do that!
If I prayed constantly for every single person I know
I’d never get anything else done.
On second thought…
Paul didn’t say he prayed for everyone that way.
He prayed constantly for a specific group of people –
a church.
Interesting.
So…
is there a church You want me to pray for constantly?
And what does that mean?
Does it mean I care so much
about everything they’ve been through
the challenges they’re now facing
what You’re calling them to do
that my thoughts keep returning to them throughout the day
and I keep crying out to You to help them?
Okay.
Show me which church…
and I’ll pray.
