Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in the fear of God:

“I will not show my love to her children, because they are the children of adultery. Their mother has been unfaithful and has conceived them in disgrace. She said, ‘I will go after my lovers, who give me my food and my water, my wool and my linen, my oil and my drink.’”
(Hosea 2:4-5)

I know You’re full of love and compassion, Jesus.

But when You have to, You sure can be tough.

Once You protected a woman caught in the very act of adultery
from the people who were ready to stone her to death.

But when You have to, You sure can be tough.

You’ve promised not to punish children for the sins of their parents

but this time, You sure were tough.

I don’t understand the details that made these children
the exception to the rule.

But You do.

That’s all I need to know.
