Try to put yourself in Jesus’ place, as you pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud:

“Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.”
(Revelation 1:7)

As You listen to me read those words…

what are You thinking, Jesus?

Are You envisioning the shocked looks on the faces of those cloud-watchers
who catch the first glimpse of You?

As news of Your return spreads like wildfire…

how will it make You feel to watch billions of people
race outside, stumbling, falling, crying, as they stare up at You?

But even as terror grips the hearts of all who rejected You
may their screams of fear and despair be drowned out

by the shouts of praise, joy, adoration and excitement
bursting from the lips of millions of believers
who have just joined You in those clouds

including mine.
