Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in a spirit of humble acknowledgement:

“The king talked with them, and he found none equal to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; so they entered the king’s service. In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom.”
(Daniel 1:19-20)

Nobody’s ten times better than somebody else, Jesus…

unless You get involved.

And You’re involved –

in every aspect of life.
in every aspect of my life.

You singled out Daniel and his three Hebrew friends.
You had plans for them

just as You’ve singled me out
and have plans for me.

Don’t let false modesty rob me of that truth.
Don’t let the sins of my past obscure Your vision for my future.

The fact is:

You stoop down

to make me great.

Help me face it
deal with it

and get on with it.
