That’s the relationship I long to experience with You, Jesus!

When You move, I move.

When You work, I work.
When You play, I play.

I don’t want to make up my mind in advance what my schedule will be

then stick to it with blind tenacity
oblivious to the corrections You offer.

Yes, I will ask You to lead me in planning

my day
my year
my career

my life

Except they aren’t mine.

They’re Yours.

So as I work the plans I believe You have given me
I choose to live in such deep, daily, moment-by-moment, 1on1 relationship with You

that when You want me to depart from those plans

all it takes

is Your

whisper.
