Lazaroo – Friday, July 9, 2010

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with humble desire:
“…he must be blameless…”
(Titus 1:7)
Oh, Jesus.
Every time I see this expectation of Yours
I go tilt.
I know You ordered Abram to be blameless.
Noah actually did it.
So did David and Job.
But those men are listed among Your all-time greats!
I’m totally unworthy to be on such a list.
Except…
You also called every Jew to be blameless
along with every person in Your Church.
I’ve put my faith in You alone for my salvation
I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead to give me eternal life.
Which means I’m in Your Church.
You chose me before I was ever born
to be holy and blameless in Your sight.
I’m not that strong.
But You are.
I beg You to exercise Your supernatural strength in me
so on the day I stand before You
I will be blameless.
