Lazaroo – Tuesday, June 29, 2010

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with a heart full of gratitude:
“All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God’s grace in all its truth.”
(Colossians 1:6)
Hearing the good news about You isn’t enough, is it Jesus?
I have to respond.
And to respond appropriately, I have to understand what Your grace actually means to my life.
The closer I come to understanding Your grace in all its truth
the more Your good news will bear fruit and grow.
But how can I understand such miraculous wonders unless You enable me?
O God!
Open my eyes, that I may see these wonderful things in Your Word!
Open my mind, that I may understand the Scriptures!
and open my heart
so that having seen and understood
I may share it with those who need it
as desperately as I do.
