Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in triumphant trust:

“‘Does Job fear God for nothing?’ Satan replied. ‘Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has?’”
(Job 1:9-10)

I want that hedge, Jesus!

Surround me with Your favor, as with a shield.

Cause me to walk uprightly, in rock-solid integrity and wholehearted obedience.
May Your love, truth and salvation protect me from all harm.

Deliver me from the lion’s roaring mouth.

Fill my heart with songs of deliverance – straight from the pages of Your Holy Word.

Command Your powerful angels to rise up with ferocity and beat back every attack against me.

Like the mountains that surround Your holy city of Jerusalem, surround me with Your protection.

I believe You will do all of this for me, LORD –

so long as I do not by my own sinful actions

force You to tear down the strong, protective hedge You have built.
