Lazaroo – Sunday, April 11, 2010
No comments, Apr 11, 2010
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with sold-out surrender:
“Remember the command that Moses the servant of the LORD gave you…”
(Joshua 1:13)
This is the second-biggest challenge I face, Jesus –
to remember what You’ve told me
at the very moment when I need it most.
Sometimes I’ll read a passage in the Bible
sing a worship song based on Your Word
hear somebody share one of Your commands
and think to myself
“This is good
this is the right way to live
this is the way I want to live.”
Then life gets crazy
I get distracted
it all happens too fast
and I forget.
But as tough as that is, there’s one thing that’s even tougher:
to remember exactly what You want me to do
and discover the someone or something in me
that doesn’t want to do it.
That’s the battle
in Your strength alone
I’ve got to win.
