Lazaroo – Thursday, February 18, 2010

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with zealous determination:
“They found rich, good pasture, and the land was spacious, peaceful and quiet.”
(1 Chronicles 4:40)
That sounds so good, Jesus.
I live in a world that is way too hectic.
Sometimes it feels
more cramped than spacious
full of anxiety, not peaceful
noisy, rather than quiet.
Father, I would love for You to plant me in rich, good pasture!
Or…
is that exactly what You have done?
At first glance, I admit it doesn’t feel like that to me.
My life is so stressful!
But is it possible that You have carefully placed me in the perfect environment
for my maximum growth?
It may not be the easiest place on the planet
it may not be the most pleasant
it may stretch me like a rubber band
but if You are using all of these hardships, tears and failures to make me more like You
it’s worth it.
