Lazaroo – Thursday, February 4, 2010
No comments, Feb 04, 2010
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with keen anticipation:
“Go through the camp and tell the people, ‘Get your supplies ready. Three days from now you will cross the Jordan here to go in and take possession of the land the LORD your God is giving you for your own.’”
(Joshua 1:11)
What “supplies” do I need to get ready, Jesus?
When You tell me to move, I want to be packed and ready to go.
Is there any more schooling – formal or informal – You want me to pick up?
What about my relationships?
Are there any I need to
take deeper
repair
end?
Of course, unlike the command Joshua issued, You don’t always let me know how many more days I have to wait.
You do that on purpose, don’t You?
Probably because once I’ve got my “supplies” together
You want me to stay ready.
Fair enough.
All I ask is
when it’s time to move out
please let me know.
