Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with deep longing:

“The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.”
(John 1:9)

Turn my darkness into light, Jesus!

As I meditate on Your commands

cause Your Word to blaze with supernatural light

that gives sight to my eyes.

You are my light and my salvation, LORD – whom shall I fear?

Your light is my only hope of survival.

When I win one of life’s battles

I know it’s not because I’m

smarter
stronger
braver

but because You look on me with love
and cause the light of Your face to light my way
while blinding the eyes of my enemies.

No wonder I can’t stop praising You, Father!

From this moment forward, it is my heart’s desire that every step I take

will be illuminated by the light of your Presence

allowing me to experience the joy

that obedience to You alone can give.
