Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with heartfelt desire:

“On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit…”
(Revelation 1:10)

That’s exactly where I long to be, Jesus – “in the Spirit.”

It’s overwhelmingly tiresome
when it’s just me.

It’s incredibly egotistical
when it’s just me.

It’s potentially misleading
when it’s just me

It’s insufferably stifling
when it’s just me.

It’s unbearably lonely
when it’s just me.

Yes Sir. I did sign up to be Your follower.

But I crave more than that!

You in me
I in You

deep, daily, moment-by-moment

in the Spirit

especially on this coming “Lord’s Day!”

not just Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday
not merely Thursday, Friday or Saturday

But Sunday – “the Lord’s Day!” –

forever so named
because it was on the first day of the week

that You rose from the dead
defeating death, hell and the grave

making it possible for me to live every single day

in the Spirit.
