Lazaroo – Friday, April 26, 2013
Apr 26, 2013 I Lazaroo.
Stand on God’s Word, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“You should not look down on your brother in the day of his misfortune, nor rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their destruction…”
(Obadiah 1:12)
I would never do that, Jesus.
At least…not intentionally.
I know You love Judah.
They’re Your chosen people.
But it’s more – much more! – than that:
You Yourself were physically descended from Judah through Your mother Mary.
Even Your stepfather Joseph was a member of that famous tribe.
You’re the Lion of Judah!
I know most Jews today do not recognize You as their Messiah.
For that matter, most Jews today
don’t believe
don’t accept the authenticity of their own Scriptures
aren’t looking for their Messiah.
But that’s about to change.
There is coming a day
when You will once again
gather Your people to Yourself.
So until then…
I will continue to
honor
pray for
defend
those You have chosen.
