Lazaroo – Friday, August 30, 2013

Aug 30, 2013 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in deep reverence:

“But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him…”
(Jude 1:9)

This requires me to reshuffle my thinking, Jesus.

Again.

If the angel who leads heaven’s army doesn’t dare to speak slanderous words against Satan

I shouldn’t either.

Just because Satan is behind much of the evil that pervades this planet
doesn’t mean I can go off on him.

Fight him, yes.
Disrespect him, no.

How much less then, dare I treat disrespectfully a human being created in Your Image

even though – at least to my mind –
they’re clearly in the wrong?

Yes we can fight against the evil (not the person) but to lower ourselves to that evil level is wrong. Evil is growing bolder everyday and it is difficult to see things we love crumbling in our nation, but God is in control and the Lord will rebuke in the very best way.
