What an important caution, Jesus.

Not everyone who claims to be my brother
is a brother.

Not everyone who claims to be my sister in You
is a sister.

They’re not part of my forever family
just because they talk a good line.

Only those who actually do Your will
are my brothers and sisters.

Deliver me from false Christians, LORD!

And give me supernatural discernment
to see one of ’em coming
a mile away.
