Lazaroo – Friday, January 28, 2011
Jan 28, 2011 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud to God, in the holy fear due His Name:
“But since you rejected me when I called and no one gave heed when I stretched out my hand, since you ignored all my advice and would not accept my rebuke, I in turn will laugh at your disaster; I will mock when calamity overtakes you—when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelm you.”
(Proverbs 1:24-27)
I’ve heard of tough love, Jesus…
but wow.
Some people wouldn’t call this “love” at all.
But just because You’re God
doesn’t mean You don’t have feelings.
It may just mean Your feelings
are God-sized.
So let me see if I’ve got this straight:
If I reject You in spite of the fact that You’ve
called to me
reached out to me
counseled me
it really ticks You off.
Which means I’d better get ready
to reap what I’ve sown.
