Lazaroo – Friday, January 29, 2010
Jan 29, 2010 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with no-holds-barred surrender:
“The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the offerings made to the LORD by fire.”
(Leviticus 2:3)
I needed to see this, Jesus.
You view this grain offering as
“most holy.”
But it wasn’t “magic grain.”
Although fine flour, oil and incense were to be mixed with it, the grain itself was just
plain, ordinary, everyday grain.
What made it “most holy” was not its quality or quantity
but what it represented.
Is that how You view my tithes and offerings to You?
As “most holy?”
It’s not “magic money.”
It’s not the amount.
Depending on what’s happening in my life at the time, my ten percent plus offerings could be
magnificent…
or minuscule.
It’s what it represents:
Me –
offering all that I am and all that I have
to You.
