Lazaroo – Friday, July 24, 2009

Jul 24, 2009 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with outrageous adoration:

“… together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ—their Lord and ours…”
(1 Corinthians 1:2)

I love knowing I’m not alone, Jesus!

What a thrill it is to realize there are another two billion people on this planet who claim Your Name as their own.

With Your blood on the cross You’ve purchased people from every ethnic group, tribe, language, dialect and nation.

Our personalities, experiences, talents and skill levels are vastly different.

Our IQs range from the lowest to the highest.

We come in every color, height and weight. Some of us are beautiful or handsome. Most of us are quite ordinary in appearance.

And some of us are downright ugly.

But even if I was all alone…if no one else had dared to risk it all and put their faith in You…

You’re enough!

…and to know with certainty that there are those naming the name of Jesus who are wiser than I am, on whom I can depend to help me navigate my faith through the the dangerous waters of this fallen world.
