Allow your heart to fill with wonder, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was.”
(Matthew 2:9)

This was no ordinary star, was it, Jesus?

The star that led the Magi to the exact house where You were living…

wasn’t millions of miles away.

Any star that could single out one home from all the others around

had to be a miracle star
specially created by You for this very purpose

up close and personal.

I love that about You, Father!

You’re never generic
You’re not god-in-a-box.

If necessary, You’ll break every natural law You’ve established
just to get one of Your people

in the right place
at the right time.

So when I beg You to lead me, I can be absolutely confident:

You will.
