Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in sacrificial obedience:

“You have conspired to tell me misleading and wicked things, hoping the situation will change.”
(Daniel 2:9)

I know what it is to have someone mislead me, Jesus.
I’ve also been told wicked things.

But when people “conspire,” that’s a whole ‘nuther thing.

It means more than one person is involved –
at least two, maybe many more.

It means they’re talking about me behind my back

plotting against me
scheming to deceive me –

all of which sounds like something a paranoid person would imagine!

But it’s my job to make sure that’s exactly what happens to me –
to live such an effective, impactful life for You that Your enemies

become mine.

That they’ll talk about me behind my back

plot against me
scheme to deceive me.

That’s how they treated You.

If I’m truly following in Your footsteps…

That’s how they’ll treat me.
