Lazaroo – Friday, March 30, 2012
Mar 30, 2012 I Lazaroo.
Seek Godly discernment, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:
“So the king of Jericho sent this message to Rahab: ‘Bring out the men who came to you and entered your house, because they have come to spy out the whole land.’”
(Joshua 2:3)
You’ve commanded me to obey my leaders, Jesus.
Normally.
It doesn’t matter if I agree.
My idea might be better.
Theirs might be extremely poor
even unfair.
But if they’re my leader
I’m bound to obey.
Normally.
It doesn’t make any difference if I like them.
They may be hypocrites
cruel, lying, faithless, unfair.
It doesn’t matter.
If they order it
I have no choice but to obey.
Normally.
Everybody in authority
was put there by You.
I don’t have to understand that
but I’d better believe it
However, if my leader ever commands me to disobey You
I have no choice but to disobey them
even if it costs me my life.
