Lazaroo – Friday, March 4, 2011
Mar 04, 2011 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, from a heart overflowing with gratitude:
“From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.”
(John 1:16)
But I don’t always see it that way, do I, Jesus?
How many times have I been so consumed by the one, two, or ten things going wrong
that I’ve failed to notice the countless number going right?
Whether or not I could see it
the sun still came up this morning.
Whether or not I can feel it
my heart’s still beating.
Whether or not my lungs know it
the air I breathe still contains sufficient amounts of
nitrogen
oxygen
carbon dioxide
plus a few other trace elements tossed in
to make things interesting! 😉
Whether or not I’ve paid attention
gravity is still keeping me from floating off into outer space.
Forgive me for my “glass-is-half-full mentality,” Father!
The cup You’ve placed in my hands
is full to the brim.
