Lazaroo – Friday, May 9, 2014
May 09, 2014 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with no-holds-barred surrender:
“…humbly accept the word planted in you…”
(James 1:21)
That’s what I long to do, Jesus.
Like ground eager to receive life-giving seed
it is my desire to see every word You have planted in me
grow.
I can’t wait to see what Your amazing Word produces in me!
But to do that, ground has to be broken up, doesn’t it?
That explains a few things.
When ground is hard and unyielding, seed doesn’t germinate.
It just sits there
waiting for the next hungry bird to come along.
Well, if breaking up is what it takes
do it.
