Lazaroo – Friday, November 4, 2011
Nov 04, 2011 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with an awareness of whose you are:
“Therefore I will take away my grain when it ripens, and my new wine when it is ready.”
(Hosea 2:9)
We forget, don’t we, Jesus?
Wait a minute. Let me start over:
I forget.
I forget that it’s Your grain, Your new wine –
Your car
Your house
Your children
Your business
Your relationship
Your schedule
Your Church
Your world
Your body
Your life
not mine.
Everything I use, have or borrow
is Yours.
All my friends, family, neighbors, associates
belong to You.
Nothing in my life is mine to keep –
including life itself.
The only things that are truly mine
the only possessions I will ever be able to keep
are what I manage to upload from this earth
and store with You.
Every investment of
time
talent
treasure
I make in You and Your people
is right now –
and increasingly will be –
waiting for me in heaven.
