Lazaroo – Friday, September 10, 2010

Sep 10, 2010 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in absolute God-confidence:

“So I went to the governors of Trans-Euphrates and gave them the king’s letters. The king had also sent army officers and cavalry with me.”
(Nehemiah 2:9)

You’ve given me everything I need, Jesus.

Oh, not always as obviously as those letters, army officers and cavalry You gave Nehemiah…

but You’ve thoroughly equipped me, nonetheless

to do Your will
Your way

in Your time.

So maybe some of the time I get upset when You haven’t given me the tools I need

is because I’m trying to accomplish a task
You haven’t assigned me to do.

But I admit it.

Sometimes when I see You haven’t given me enough to complete a task I’m certain You have ordered me to accomplish

I lose heart.

Forgive me, LORD!

I don’t have to have everything now.
All I need is enough to start.

And that…

is now in my hand.

Good word ! He has given us what we need, not always what we want ,or ,on our time frame. But we have been “thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2Timothy 3:17) There was a time when I asked God why He didn’t just put a letter in my mailbox everyday, revealing His will for me. The Lord spoke ever so softly to my heart that He had written me 66 letters, if I would just read them. Every Day !! He reminded me that I am to “live by faith, not by sight” (2Cor. 5:7) As for the calvary and army, I’ll put on my armor (Ephesians 6:11-18) and pray like there’s no tomorrow about the rest !
