If there’s one thing I don’t want to be called, Jesus…

it’s a “blemish” –

something small that spoils something beautiful.

I don’t mind admitting I’m small.
Small is what I am.

But I don’t want to be the person who walks into my church and spoils it by my

critical spirit
rotten attitude
sour expression
demands to be served
lack of participation in worship
refusal to humbly submit to Your Word

The solution is not for me to stay away.

It’s to show up with a heart right before You.
