Lazaroo – Monday, July 18, 2011

Jul 18, 2011 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with all your heart, soul, mind and strength:

“I am so eager to preach the gospel…”
(Romans 1:15)

That’s who I want to be, Jesus!

I don’t want to be a reluctant witness.
I never want to be ashamed to tell people about You.

I don’t want to share Your good news out of obligation –

though because of all You’ve done for me
and because heaven and hell hang in the balance –

I am obligated.

I don’t want to work Your name into conversations
because some preacher or Christian author told me I should.

I don’t want to flush with embarrassment
when I admit

that I worship extravagantly during church services
serve in a ministry
read Your Word every day
tithe on every dollar I make
pray over everything
refuse any activity that might displease You.

I want to be exactly like Paul in this:

bursting with passionate excitement
to tell one more person about You.

2 Chronicles 15:15; Luke 22:14; Romans 8:23; 1 Corinthians 1:7; 1 Corinthians 12:31; 1 Corinthians 14:1; Galatians 5:5; Philippians 1:20; Philippians 3:20; 1 Peter 3:15-16

Pastor you with God .. do so much with eight words … Yes .. I pray for that also .. and am assured of His promise to lead me to become the unique child of God that He has envisioned. His love and His promises are always faithful and true. Philippians 1: 6
(the scriptures verses you added .. every last one was very helpful and comforting)
