Lazaroo – Monday, November 19, 2012
Nov 19, 2012 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with every fiber of your being:
“I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.”
(2 Timothy 1:12)
That’s what it’s all about, Jesus:
“that day”
the day at the end of life when I stand before You and hear those two amazing words:
“Well done.”
Oh, I know – I’ve heard all the disparaging comments about “pie in the sky when you die.”
But I’ve noticed something:
The people who so callously dismiss heavenly rewards
are precisely the ones who don’t plan to go there.
Well, I do!
So it just makes sense to me that I ought to pack for the trip.
I love the way it works:
Everything I do for You goes
gets sent ahead
gets exchanged into heavenly treasure
keeps piling up, awaiting my arrival.
Wow.
What a day
that day
will be.
