Ask God to examine and reveal your heart, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“The God of heaven will give us success.”
(Nehemiah 2:20)

I’d like to claim this promise, Jesus.

But before I do, I have to be sure I’m eligible.

Am I doing my best

to keep my thoughts pure before You?
to keep my words gracious and kind?
to keep my actions in line with Your Word?

You see all the way into me, LORD.

So far as I know
with all my heart

I’m living in a way that honors You.

In light of Your forgiveness and mercy
unworthy as I am

I hereby claim this amazing promise

as my own.
