Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud…knowing God can do anything:

“As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared…”
(2 Kings 2:11)

I love this about You, Jesus!

You do things nobody else can
in ways no one could ever predict.

This was no ordinary chariot.

It wasn’t even a chariot on fire.
It was a chariot made entirely of fire –

flames which normally burn randomly, out of control
shaped by You into an awe-inspiring chariot.

By Your standards, such a chariot couldn’t be pulled by ordinary horses.

No, these horses also had to be made of fire –
flames bursting into heads, manes, tales and galloping hooves.

Oh, to have been there to see that!

(I wouldn’t mind seeing a replay when I get to heaven.)

But until then, I’m going to keep my eyes peeled

for the completely unexpected
totally awesome thing You’re about to do

next.
