Open yourself to breakthrough, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands.”
(1 John 2:3)

That hits like a slap in the face, Jesus –

a slap I need
to help me wake up.

Here I am, struggling to obey You in everything.

I want to please You
so You’ll accept me.

But You’re telling me I’ve got it backwards.

Obedience doesn’t give me a relationship with You
it reveals my relationship with You.

I’ll never be able to fully obey You…

until I spend the 1on1 time with You
in Your Word and in prayer

that enables me
to truly know You.
