Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with a never-say-die spirit:

“Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her. There I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope. There she will sing as in the days of her youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt.”
(Hosea 2:14-15)

O Jesus.

You’re the only one who can do this.

Everybody else says –

“You can’t roll back the clock.”
“You can’t go home again.”
“Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.”

They have good reason for saying that:

Over and over, they’ve watched
as people tried in vain to recapture their youth.

For them, the lessons of the past are written in stone.

What has been, will be again.

But while they drive with their eyes fixed on their rear view mirrors

I fix my eyes on You.
