You could have chosen to be born in any of the great First Century cities, Jesus –

Rome
Alexandria
Athens
Syrian Antioch
Ephesus
Corinth

For that matter, You could have waited to make Your appearance in one of the megacities of today –

Tokyo
New York
London
Paris
Mexico City
Hong Kong

But that’s not Your style –

wasn’t then…

still isn’t.

You chose to be born in a small town –

a place called, “Bethlehem.”

You chose to appear when the population of the earth was 200 million

instead of waiting for the seven billion people of today.

Unexpected –

like almost everything else You do.
