I’ve seen some trials, Jesus

but that doesn’t make me special.
Everybody goes through trials.

What You’re looking for

is somebody who won’t quit.

You don’t give up on me

just because I feel like quitting

then don’t…

when I come within a whisker of quitting

then pull back from the edge and hang in there anyway…

even after I actually do quit

then change my mind and unquit.

You expect me to stand the test

but it’s not a test unless it’s hard.

It’s not a really good test unless it makes me want to quit.

I’ve had a few of those.

But since You don’t quit on me

I won’t quit on You.
