Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with Godly wisdom:

“Offer right sacrifices and trust in the LORD.”
(Psalms 4:5)

So by this, Jesus, I take it You’re helping me understand:

Not every sacrifice is “right.”

Just because I do without something
just because I pay a huge price

even if the sacrifice I make impresses the socks off of everyone else

it doesn’t mean You’re pleased
doesn’t mean I should’ve done it.

Apparently some sacrifices…

are just dumb.

I’d just as soon not make those, LORD.

Please – guide me!
