Pray aloud this Lazaroo in reverence and anticipation:

“He answered me, ‘To measure Jerusalem…’”
(Zechariah 2:2)

But who can do that, Jesus?

It’s not a big city –
it’s mammoth.

Surveyors have no trouble marking its physical boundaries

but no one can measure its impact.

When something unmundane happens here

the entire world pays attention.

Our jaws drop at the historicity of its sites

which cannot compare
to its spiritual significance.

But in spite of its beauty and antiquity

this Jerusalem is nothing

compared to the New Jerusalem that will replace it.

The Day is set
on its way

and nothing can stop it.
