Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with unrestrained allegiance:

“…ever since I heard about…your love for all the saints…”
(Ephesians 1:15)

No wonder Paul heard about their love, Jesus!

It’s rare.

Not because it’s excruciatingly difficult.

Because it’s impossible.

It’s one thing to love some of Your people.
They’re just lovable!

It’s a whole ‘nuther level to love most of Your people.

Be civil to them, sure.
Be nice to them…okay.
Stretch and strain until I come to appreciate them a bit?  Whew.
Weep, mourn and wail until I actually like them?!  Wow.
Prostrate myself before You until I truly love them…

Yes! Major breakthrough.

So that takes care of some of Your people
and most of Your people.

Which leaves the rest.

Those who are truly impossible to love.

If there’s anything lovable in them
it must be buried deep, where only You can see

which means the love I show them

must be Yours.
