I wish he had written more, Jesus.

Then I could be reading it right now
instead of wondering what was burning in his heart.

Of course, my problem is not that I don’t have enough information about You.

My problem is how little I’m doing
with the information I have.

I’m educated way beyond
the level of my obedience.

Perhaps I should do a little more meditating on the truths You’ve already provided

so that when I’m faced with a hard choice

I do what’s right
not what’s expedient.
