Shake your head in wonder, as you pray this Lazaroo out loud:

“I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.”
(Philemon 1:6)

I don’t know why I’m surprised, Jesus…

but I am.

I would have expected You to reward me for sharing my faith.

Big time.

But not this big.

A full understanding
of every good thing I have in You?!!!

Good grief.

That’s over the top.
Bafflingly unexpected.

At the very least, I would have guessed that full understanding would have come from

a Ph.D. in Theology
plus a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies
not to mention thousands of hours in Biblical research.

But that would have put it out of reach for everybody except a handful of brilliant scholars.

Not Your style.

Instead, You put full understanding where even I can reach
if only I’m willing

to actively share my faith.
