Lazaroo – Saturday, October 30, 2009
Oct 30, 2010 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with renewed determination:
“…even if I had a husband tonight and then gave birth to sons—would you wait until they grew up? Would you remain unmarried for them? No, my daughters.”
(Ruth 1:12-13)
Sometimes it feels that way, Jesus.
Too late.
After all, that’s what I hear everybody saying
about their own sour grapes:
“Too late to start over
“too late to forgive him
“too late to do this right
“too late to go on a diet
“too late to get married
“too late to get in shape
“too late to quit smoking
“too late to say, ‘I’m sorry’
“too late to fix this problem
“too late to go back to school
“too late to repair our relationship
“too late to choose a different path
“too late to give up my drug of no choice
Until once again You remind me
with You…
…it’s never too late
