Lazaroo – Sunday, December 8, 2013
Dec 08, 2013 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with burning zeal:
“…you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live…”
(Ephesians 2:1-2)
Well, when You put it that way, Jesus…
it sounds pretty nasty.
Like somebody wallowing in the mud
digging down to dine in a dumpster.
That’s pretty much what it was.
So why would I ever return to that lifestyle –
even for a moment?
Good question.
Because sometimes, unthinkable as it is…
I do.
What could I possibly be thinking?
I’m alive, now!
Why would I ever want to snuggle back down
into a coffin?
