Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud all the way to the marrow of your bones:

“…deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh…”
(2 John 1:7)

Help me understand this warning, Jesus.

I know a deceiver is a person who tries to make me think something false is true

or something true is false.

But You’re taking me deeper, aren’t You?

revealing to me the ultimate deception
pointing out the most dangerous deceiver:

anyone who diminishes You
anyone who attempts to explain away Your miraculous power
anyone who tries to mask this majestic truth:

that the God who made everything came to earth as one of us

to save us from eternity in hell.

This is the real battleground

the battle of the ages
where everything is won or lost.

As bad as all other deceptions may be

may I never allow them to distract me
from proclaiming You in all Your glory

the only Savior of the world.
