Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in grateful awe:

“There is no one holy like the LORD…”
(1 Samuel 2:2)

That’s why I worship You, Jesus.

But it’s also why I fear You.

You’re holy.
I’m not.

Well…not in myself – though I’m covered in Your holiness.

Even so
try though I might
I fall woefully short of what You deserve.

Satan exploits that gap

attempts to rob us of our 1on1 time together.

But Your great holiness doesn’t repel me.

It draws me.

As I enjoy this time with You each day
little by little the gap closes

and miraculously

I become more and more

like You.
