Lazaroo – Sunday, July 19, 2009

Jul 19, 2009 I Lazaroo.

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud all the way to the marrow of your bones:

“Go in and take possession of the land that the LORD swore he would give to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob—and to their descendants after them.”
(Deuteronomy 1:8)

Thank You, LORD.

By faith, I stand on Your promise that I, too, am an heir of Abraham.

Which means:

You’ve given me land!

Perhaps the land You’ve given me is as tangible and physical as the land You gave the Jews.

Perhaps not.

Perhaps the land You’ve given me is as spiritual as this rock-solid promise on which I stand.

But if so, it’s no less real.

No less mine.

Because I am Yours, Jesus…and all You have is mine.

But just because You’ve given me land doesn’t mean it is in my possession.

The descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob have always had to fight for the land You gave them.

And so will I.

Thank you, Lord, that you have enabled me to look at the land you promised and see past the Earth into eternity. “Land” without end.
