Lazaroo – Sunday, June 15, 2014
Jun 15, 2014 I Lazaroo.
Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in sold-out surrender:
“Our lives for your lives!”
(Joshua 2:14)
That’s quite a trade, Jesus.
Your spies in Jericho promised to spare a prostitute’s family
if she helped them escape.
That’s only a pale shadow of what You did for me:
Your life for mine.
If I give my life to You
Your death on the cross saves me.
But it doesn’t stop there, does it?
Now – in overwhelmed gratitude –
You call me to lay aside my selfish goals
devoting myself to Your cause
giving my life for others
so that they, too
may live.
