Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in utter desperation:

“…since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will…”
(Colossians 1:9)

Do that for me, Jesus.

Please.

If Paul can ask You to do that for the people in that city

confident that You not only could do it –
but that You would do it! –

then I can ask You to do the same thing for me

and for the people of my city
and for Your Church around the world.

I don’t want to know just a little of Your will, Father –

fill me with the knowledge of Your will, Holy Spirit!
Fill me to overflowing!

I’m so sick and tired

of guessing
and wondering
and speculating

about what You want me to do.

I know I deserve no better

but I long

to know that I know that I know.
